Dr. Sonal Bhoot, DMD

Dentist & Owner

Dr. Sonal Bhoot, DMD is the owner dentist at Dental Expressions and has over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive, patient-focused dental care to patients in Leawood and nearby Kansas City communities. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the New Jersey Dental School in 2003 and remains committed to providing exceptional care for patients of all ages.

Her clinical experience includes cosmetic dentistry, CEREC same-day restorations, Invisalign, endodontic treatment, oral surgery, TMJ therapy, restorative dentistry, and laser-assisted procedures. Dr. Bhoot is dedicated to continuing education and regularly advances her training to ensure safe, effective, and comfortable treatment options.

Dr. Bhoot is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Kansas Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and participates in professional study clubs and community programs focused on dental education and access to care.

Kimberli Hoeszle

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kimberli is one of our most experienced dental hygienists and is certified in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and CPR. She focuses on helping patients feel comfortable while improving their oral health. Kimberli provides deep cleanings, laser-assisted periodontal care, and routine six-month hygiene visits for patients of all ages. She has built strong, long-term relationships with many of our patients.

Prosper Lewis Grayson

Lead Dental Assistant

Prosper is our lead dental assistant with over 15 years of experience. She plays an essential role in welcoming patients and assisting with procedures such as extractions, root canals, dentures, cosmetic treatments, and general dentistry. Prosper works with patients of all ages and takes pride in creating a calm, low-stress experience. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, music, and spending time with her husband and three children.

Jaycee Dixon

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jaycee is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from the Concorde hygiene program and is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. She is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide and has been part of our practice since 2022. After beginning her career as a dental assistant, she returned to school to pursue hygiene. We are proud to have her as part of our Leawood team.

Kimberli Decourcy

Schedule Manager

Kimberli is our lead scheduling coordinator and is cross-trained as a dental assistant. With over 30 years of experience in dentistry, she manages scheduling, treatment plan coordination, patient communication, and payments. Her attention to patient needs helps ensure each visit runs smoothly. Originally from Arkansas, Kimberli has made the Kansas City area her home.

Misty Vantine

Insurance Coordinator

Misty serves as our auxiliary insurance coordinator, verifying benefits and assisting with insurance processing. Her role helps ensure accurate claims and a smooth experience for patients. She also supports front-office operations and enjoys interacting with patients during their visits.

Mac

Dental Assistant

Mac is a dental assistant who enjoys working closely with patients and supporting a wide range of procedures in our office. She is trained in most treatments we provide and contributes positively to the patient experience. Outside the office, Mac works as a swim instructor.
